Teachers

There are, at the moment, a total of 3 teachers, all CRB checked and all experienced in their field. These teachers are:

 

Sharon Ide
Sharon plays 1st tenor horn in the main band, and is one of the tutor's for the Training Band. Sharon works alongside Lynne to help direct the Training Band and prepare them for concerts.

 

 

Lynne Cole
Lynne is the band's Solo Trombone player, although can also play a variety of other instruments. Lynne directs the main part of the band, assisted most ably by Sharon.

 

 

Martin Hissey
Martin is also the band's Percussionist and 2nd Baritone player, but has over 15 years teaching experience with youth marching bands and is knowledgeable in side drum techniques. He is in charge of the Yiewsley and West Drayton Training Band's percussion group.
